The voice of the people is the voice of God
Hugo Rafael Chavez Frias, President of The Bolivarian Republic of
Venezuela

The media in the United States is controlled by the corporate giants who fund and control the policies of the U.S. government, this fact is not news. Everything viewed on the television, heard on the radio, or from any major U.S. news media outlet on the internet must first be cleared via the U.S. State Department. Welcome to freedom of speech and expression. This is one reason why most people in America have no clue who President Hugo Chavez is, or why he is so important to stopping the global oppression put forth by the U.S. government.

Through a real democratic election process, without CIA henchmen scaring, killing, or oppressing the voters, Mr. Hugo Chavez was elected President of Venezuela in 1998 with an overwhelming majority. July 2000 President Chavez was elected again by an overwhelming majority. On April 12, 2002 Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez was forced from office in a military coup led by the CIA. The attempt failed because the people rose to defend President Chavez (Think back to the Chilean coup d‘état of September 11, 1973, which displaced a democratically elected president, led by the CIA who put Augusto Pinochet into power and the war crimes which followed).

President Hugo Chavez has done what no other leader in the Americas has done in years; he has given the poor, the indigenous, the oppressed, and the uneducated agency and voice. His stature is on par with the international figures of comparable stature, that of Fidel Castro or Che Guevara. This is something which is offensive the fascist leadership of the United States. The following is a short list of proactive achievements which President Hugo Chavez has done for his people:
Mission Robinson — teaching more than 1.3 million people to read and write in the space of 16 months, a world record in this field

Mission Ribas — secondary education for just over 1 million people so far, who were denied this basic human right during the 4th Republic

Mission Barrio Adentro Into the Nieghborhood — to provide free primary health care for more than 10 million people up to now, and who did not have access to health care in the past – unless they paid for it

Mission Simoncito — care and education for pregnant mothers and their children from gestation to kindergarten, to ensure a healthy start to life

Bolivarian Schools — integral schooling including free health care and meals, with the objective of inculcating patriotic, humanitarian values in the upcoming generations.

Think for one moment on the current social conditions in America, then think what it would be like if all the money spent during the Iraq, Afghanistan wars was spent on basic human issues in America, health care, education and peace? What if the United States had leadership like President Hugo Chavez?

The United States is a bloated tick on the body of the world, sucking the life blood from every Third World country, as with every poor and oppressed human on the planet. The destructive megalomania precept of the United States yields only suffering, oppression, lies, and death. As long as the white Eurocentric christian dogma is bent on this 500 or so years of hegemony over humanity, the world will never know peace.
