The U.S. is getting ready to grow hemp. The hemp will contain less than three tenths of one percent THC. This is exactly what the DEA wants because the hemp will become weaker and weaker, as THC is what protects the plant from the sun. A North Dakota Commissioner is about to try and grow a hemp crop. The state has already approved hemp farming, they have been waiting since 1997 when they allowed research. Seven states have already passed laws allowing hemp farming and or research, including Hawaii, Kentucky, Maine, Montana, North Dakota and West Virginia. California’s Assembly recently approved a bill permitting hemp farming, which is awaiting approval by state senators.
The world hemp industry and commerce influence has already been felt. A delegation of four State Agriculture commissioners from North Dakota, Massachusetts, West Virginia and Wisconsin all met in February with DEA officials in Washington. The meeting revolved around what would be protocol and the method to allow industrial hemp seeds to be planted in US soil.
The question on everyones mind is what type of industrial hempseed is the DEA going to allow?
As we all know The DEA is scrupulously allowing only certain marijuana permits to be obtained. These are for research into DNA characteristics and gene manipulation of hemp, in order to create a mutant gene for industrial hemp THC control, including somatic hybridization!
