U.S Evangelicals to launch 'Christian AIPAC'
The Christian Right in the United States is making more noises about Israel and its future. As they see it, Israel has a ‘Bible mandate’ to the land – giving up this land for Peace should be completely out of the question.
Some Christian elements, namely Pastor John C. Hagee of San Antonio’s Cornerstone Church intend to form yet another pro-Israel lobby group to pressure Washington to this end – the Christians United for Israel group.

A leading US evangelist is forming an umbrella organization under which all pro-Israel Christians in America can speak as one in support of the Jewish state.
Pastor John C. Hagee of San Antonio, Texas, is to launch Christians United for Israel (CUFI) at an invitation-only “Summit on Israel” next Tuesday at his Cornerstone Church.
The Texas-size church seats 5,000 worshipers and has some 17,000 members, but the summit will host a much smaller congregation: the spiritual leaders of an estimated 30 million US Christians.
“Think of CUFI as a Christian version of AIPAC [the American Israel Public Affairs Committee],” Hagee told The Jerusalem Post. “We need to be able to respond instantly to Washington with our concerns about Israel. We must join forces to speak as one group and move as one body to [respond to] the crisis Israel will be facing in the near future.”
Hagee declined to specify which crisis, noting that Israel faces one “every day the sun comes up.” But at the top of the CUFI agenda is what the pastor calls “the Bible issue,” namely what he considers to be the mistaken policy of trading parts of the biblical Land of Israel for peace, an…

In summary, another pro-Israeli lobby group. Great. I suggest they show their full and unwavering support for Israel by moving there as soon as possible, being sure to take all of their offspring as well. Surely then, their influence will have more of a direct, fully tangible result.
I figure this is about the threat of AIPAC being declared a foreign lobby, and the inconvenience that would cause. This will help them get around that problem.
Now that Gaza has been given to Hamas, it has a military foothold a thousand yards from Jerusalem.
Oh the sad state of geography education in America today…

Heh…
Oh the sad state of geography education in America today
And these fuckers are proposing to direct American foreign policy? Fuck off, go visit the Creation Science Museum.
Since when does being Jewish give anyone the right to a country?
Since 1948, you marshmallowhead.
So a religion/religious belief (of some people) gives people a right to a country of their religion, for their religion, on the basis of their religion, but only if it’s the right religion. Since 1948.
Right?
Everyone can live there. Israel is the only democracy in the middle east.
Everyone can live there
Except for Palestinians.
Why would you want a bunch of palestinians living with you?
I like that. “Bible mandate”. So apparently the “terrorists” don’t have a Q’Ran Mandate to attach decadent, sinful Westerners or keep their women veiled, or any of their traditions.. but the Jews have a a “Bible mandate” for land.
Why did I even type that out? Pointing out hipocrisy in a Judeo-Christian idea is like pointing out the non-Waldos in a “Where’s Waldo” book.
Why would you want a bunch of palestinians living with you?
As long as they’re not niggers or fags, right? “Is that a Pelestinian in the spotlight, he don’t look right! Get him up against the wall!” Fuck Zionism, it’ll end the Western world in nuclear fire if these idiots keep pressing.
You’re just jealous that you don’t have a country.
Why would you want a bunch of palestinians living with you?
Ask the Israelis who moved into palestine and claimed it as theirs.
You’re just jealous that you don’t have a country.
I’m just confused as to why some people feel that because of their religion they have a right to their own country.
Everyone can live there, provided you do your time in the military if you don’t leave the country in time.
“Bible” Mandate—I love that, like a book written 300 years after the death of Christ is some sort of holy deed to this territory where people happened to be living when they got there.
