Summary:

Torn from the pages of a bad Cold War movie, the Russian military has formally threatened the U.S. with a ballistic missile strike. Russia’s top general, Chief of Staff Yuri Baluyevsky, said that the firing of a weapon from a U.S. missile defense shield to be deployed in Eastern Europe could provoke the launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile in return.

Russia and the U.S. are locked in a direct stand-off with respect to the missile shield proposal in Poland. The laughable and tergiversated American position that somehow Iran might be aggressive towards Europe is behind the motive. However, even the lay observer knows that the belligerent American Empire is seeking a land grab from Russia and the Baltic region. Let’s hope that the Russians awaken the Bear of revolt they are famous for, as what was witnessed during World War II against the Nazis, and give the Americans a stinging military rebuke.
