Summary:

If the machinations going on in this country regarding so-called “deep integration” were instead a communist conspiracy to take over the country (you will, of course, have to try hard to imagine this) the news media would be blaring the story.

Pundits would pontificate, editorialists would erupt, security forces would be unleashed.

Instead, a virtual conspiracy to make the country disappear through assimilation into the U.S. gets barely a mention.

But news of the scheme — formally called the Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America (SPP) — is finally breaking out of the secret chambers of the ruling elite and the federal government. This is both good news and bad. It’s good that ordinary citizens are finally getting a glimpse of the betrayal of their country. The news is bad because it reflects just how much of this scheme is already being implemented.

Given the meetings of CEOs and politicians to advance the scheme politically, as well as all that must go into its actual implementation, there is simply too much activity to keep secret.

'Deep integration' comes out of shadows.

For years, hidden from the public eye, the American and Canadian governments have been integrating American law and policy into Canadian borders by use of the “Security and Prosperity Partnership of North America…

Canada will disappear….just like France has disappeared, Spain or any country that has joined the EU. I am sure there is a pretty significant pro vs con ratio to deep integration, but I feel…and I could be wrong your argument is based on the fact you just don’t like the scary Americans, our whole culture will just roll over and die if we use the same 5 dollar bill, we would put up with the dismantling of our health care system….I would like to think as Canadians we are stronger than that and might be able to influence/educate our brothers and sisters to the south.

TrainWrk @ 06/14/07 11:28:06

Canadians would never be able to influence or educate Americans. In America, being educated is frowned upon, we care more about American Idol, and if America was integrated into Canada and Mexico there would not be a whisper. We are also especially xenophobic, so taking the advice of any Canadian would be insane.

haha..

You forget the actual agenda behind this subversive integration in the first place. It has fairly specific goals, all of which have tried and true methods through which they may be accomplished. The end result is by design, and it has nothing to do with Canadianizing the USA. It is quite the opposite in fact. Although, in the bigger picture it seems, there will be a Mexicanization of us both. Privatization, Militarization, De-Democratization, Stupification, Homogenization, Power Concentration, Domination.

The appropriate sensation for people like us in this case is not a carefree, sickly optimism. It is desperation.

Faxanadu @ 06/14/07 12:17:28

I wouldn’t say I have a carefree, sickly optimism about this, but I am not about to be Chicken Little and believe every rant from isolationist/xenophobe/gun nut/bible thumping/left wing/right wing /political/non-political person out there, no matter what side of a border they are on. The influence/educate part of my post was a slim hope, but you can always hope… Now I am scared to ask, what is everybodys prediction for the EU…good/bad/ugly/world ending/1984 vision.

TrainWrk @ 06/14/07 13:03:13

Our Canadian self identity is based on not being American… We’ll be fine…

Truthcansuk @ 06/14/07 13:16:40

Not after I point the sheeple in the right direction.

Evil Canada.

misanthropic @ 06/14/07 13:29:11

I agree with you Truth…but you can say it is sad that our identity is based on not being something…My wife is a teacher and that is how grade 4 and 5 students answer the question “What is a Canadian”... If you haven’t read some of Will Fergusons books about Canadians..I would suggest it….I had some good laughs

TrainWrk @ 06/14/07 13:39:04

Trainwrk – but you can say it is sad that our identity is based on not being something…

I’ve never really had a problem with it. Describing ourselves with a negative (not Americans, not extremists, not purple) is just easier. ‘American’ carries a heavy load of implied baggage the world round, and it’s just easier to use as a negative descriptive…

If you haven’t read some of Will Ferguson’s books about Canadians..I would suggest it….I had some good laughs

Heh.. I’m actually reading ‘Why I Hate Canadians’ right now.

Faxanadu, thanks for bringing this up.

I think we can get some insight into what’s really going on and what this means for North America from these videos:

The Real Face of the European Union

UN Deception

Definately well worth the watch.

gigzter @ 06/14/07 14:24:25

Now I am scared to ask, what is everybodys prediction for the EU…good/bad/ugly/world ending/1984 vision.

Maybe start here? I’ve only read some of it. But if Europeans think they didn’t have a voice before, how the hell will they now?

A Constitution for Europe
European Constitution – Where Member States Stand

Pay attention to some of the laws that the EU is attempting to impose. Here’s some examples:
Picking Wild Flowers, Go to Jail
EU Agrees to New Racial Hatred Law
EU to Attack P2P File Sharing
EU Eyes Public Smoking Ban

The whole plan seems to be about consolidation of control and power. Is this a good thing? The French and Dutch don’t think so; and neither do I.

gigzter @ 06/14/07 14:58:49

I was watching Zeitgeist: The Movie

and it talks about the unification of Canada, the United States, and Mexico – as a step towards a one world government. Interesting and scary – for the fact that our voices get smaller and smaller.

BTKO @ 06/14/07 19:20:56

I look forward to this integration. You will become the new Mexican illegals.

athena @ 06/14/07 19:33:08

Nice touch Athena…cough. But you’re right.

gigzter @ 06/14/07 20:04:51

Bah, at the rate your dollar is dropping YOU’LL become the new illegals…

Not_Uberche @ 06/14/07 21:22:21

Touche’

athena @ 06/14/07 21:32:04

I’ve always called for that BTKO. We need to take all of North America, and couple 100 miles inland of the Panama canal. I played Risk, I know the score.
