40.000 expected at Chavez rally in Buenos Aires to counter Bush visit to neighboring Uruguay

Presidents Evo Morales of Bolivia and Rafael Correa of Ecuador have been invited to a rally to be headed next Friday by Venezuelan President Hugo Chávez in a stadium of Buenos Aires, hosts told Efe Tuesday.

“It seems that Morales is coming and there are plans for Correa to come also,” said sources of Madres de Plaza de Mayo, the organizers of the event along with other 40 social, political and human rights agencies based in Argentina.

In addition to express support to Chávez, the groups will conduct the rally in order to refuse the visit of US President George W. Bush. The ruler is to kick off ending this week a tour of five Latin American nations.
