I’d be thrilled if this holds off till at least April. It’d show some compassion for the economic impact this war will have for us here in the States and our victims abroad.

That’s why it’s more likely they’ll go for midwinter, to maximize the impact on civilian populations around the globe and minimize the potential environmental damage if this goes all the way hot, as in nuclear exchange between major regional powers Pakistan/India eventually U.S./China.
