Hmmm… The Coastal Post in Marin. Some of the items may be outdated, I understand that certain states (California?) are requiring paper trails and are in the process of suing Diebold and ES&S for lying about their code. Some places will be entirely write-in this election to deal with the time constraints of changing over. I don’t have time to research this now, and having said that it’s not as dire as painted, I am not at all confident of an honest election in November. Important issue to keep before us.

Vote counting irregularities is how elections have been rigged in past centuries back to the Medicis. Clearly, there is good reason to believe the electronic age has only improved on this most obvious method. The amount of money channeled illegally by the CIA through Mexico for Nixon’s reelection and other companies since then provide complimentary demonstrations of the amorality of the election processes.

Enough calls for rats’ testimony, tapes and links. Just demand vote casting and vote counting systems that cannot be tampered with.

No can do Lot08. That would mean that you could vote in just any old boy off the street. You just cant trust the meandering herd to cast their vote for the right candidate at the right time so vote tampering is almost mandatory to our Democracy.

Diebold employs 5 convicted felons as developers. These are the people who write the voting machine computer code.

Most computer and security companies hire convicted hackers and crackers, because they can develop code that is hack-proof.

But at the same time they can add back doors nobody can see…

You people are pathetic. Take a series of loosely documented tidbits of information (NOT necessarily facts, but what do facts have to do with anything), and contrive a conspiracy theory. Do you know anyone can twist facts and statistics to support any cause, or do they teach that anywhere any more? Worse yet, all the rest of you are nodding and grunting like a bunch of lemmings. Such gullibility. Stay on the bandwagon, though, guys and gals. Your lack of ability to think for yourselves and get all sides of a story, including ALL the facts, already shows your obsolescence in today and tomorrow. Valid research is difficult, good journalism is even harder, not just plucking items you find to support your belief. Just because a lot of people believe something doesn’t make it true. Just because you’re accused doesn’t make you guilty. If you get your news off sites like this then you really are stuck on stupid. Get smart!

Yes, there are a few facts in there I bet, although I doubt the sources…but even those are taken and applied to imply support for the obvious agenda of the writer. And a series of unrelated or loosely related facts don’t make a conviction, or even a valid argument. Several, nay most, are just other information about those involved, unrelated to the issue at hand, but supposedly supporting the argument (numbers 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10…oh, I’m going to stop listing them). Or are partial truths, such as the verifiable nature of the software in the voting machines (remember, we’re talking about the voting machines, not the other 23 counts…again, faulty logic, trying to apply that fact to this circumstance, and hoping the reader draws a conclusion, albeit the wrong one). And the emotional final statement, “Was it God, or was it Diebold?” implies there are no other explanations. I just pray you guys aren’t a jurist for me if I ever had to be tried for anything.
